Treyarch revealed AI opponents in the game's new combat training mode, encouraged by the fact that 30% of CoD players apparently never go online. This mode can be played offline or with friends.

The new Create A Class features a screen showing your character model, because this time around how you look changes depending on which Tier 1 perk you choose (stealthy players will wear a relevant suit, for example).

Black Ops multi is also set to include rare weapons only found in supply packages. These include death machine and grim reaper, the first of which is an absolutely mental machine gun and the latter a giant, fast-firing rocket launcher. The aforementioned remote control buggy also falls under this category. There's even a gunship you can FLY YOURSELF and a sam launcher that will shoot it down.

Another massive change sees the introduction of Cod Points (or CD), which you'll rack up while you play and can use to purchase abilities usually gained with XP.

CD can also be spent on Contracts; time-limited challenges that you can purchase.

Four new game modes separate from standard XP modes have been added called Wager Matches, in which you put your Cod Points on the line during a match and the top three players reap the rewards. The first is One in the Chamber; pistols only, three lives and you lose your ammo if you miss a shot. The second is Sticks and Stones, in which you've got a tomahawk and cross bow - but the former bankrupts your target. The third is Gun Game, in which a kill puts you up a level in terms of gun power. The last is Sharp Shooter with Random weapons and perks.

In Black Ops you can customise your gun with your own camo, iron sight and emblems. You can also edit together your own emblem on a screen not dissimilar to something found in Forza Motorsport.

And FINALLY Treyarch's adding a Halo-style Theatre mode, which looks almost identical to Bungie's version. All recent Live games can be opened up an viewed, the developer says. A video's going on Xbox Live tomorrow.

the care package with rare guns and perks sounds cool too
so instead of having people run around with danger close
maybe this time they have to get the perk via randomly
i just hope they make the tubes like in cod4 where you lose a perk when you put it on

the modes where you bet your xp points is probably the best thing yet
if your good then you can risk it all
but if your not on the top 3 then you lose all your xp

and theres a new gunship. they didnt show the gameplay yet but it sounds hard
this time you have to drive the gunship
i dont know if you shoot or the AI does or maybe a team member can get the kills
and they get assist points .

Tier 1 perks also now impact how your character looks in the game. Flak Jacket, for example, makes you look like the dude from Hurt Locker.


Two new Killstreak special weapon care packages were shown; a chain gun called the Death Machine and a missile launcher called the Grim Reaper. Other kill streaks include napalm strike, rc-xd (remote controlled car), gunship, mortars, and a SAM turret to shoot down gunships.

famas looks fast
the graphics in this game has a EA feel to it
balistic has to be switched into so its either equipment that you have to switch to like cod4s c4 or its a secondary

OMFG i think i just littlerally jizzed myself omfg omfg i can't believe this... fuk mw2 after this comes out i'm breaking that piece of shit game and giving it to my grandma's dog to chew on!!!

here are the perks and other stuff so far seen and confirmed

Tier 1 perks (outfit perks): Lightweight. Scavenger. Ghost. (invisible to SR-71 recon plane) Flak Jacket. Hardline.
Tier 2 perks: Hardened. Scout. Steady Aim. Sleight of Hand. Warlord. (equivalent to Bling)
Tier 3 perks: Marathon. Ninja. Second Chance. Hacker. Tactical Mask.
Pro perks will return.
New weapons: Uzi, M1 Garand, M14, ASP pistol, Ithaca, Skorpion... and more!
Thermal scope seen in Wager Match video, along with Dual Wield.

i'm pretty sure that the balistic knife is a secondary cause in the wagger match trailor they switched from a gun to the balistic knife instead of just using it and i dont see much lunge in the reg knife, it looks more like a sideswipe action (fuk yes!!! Smile)

also stopping power has been rumored to be taken out of the game and i heard that it made the health similar to cod 2? not sure of that yet its just what hutch said

We now know that our first perk slot selection will reflect what our character’s general look will be.

The first perk selections are the following:

* Lightweight
* Scavenger
* Ghost
* Flak Jacket
* Hardline

Ghost is similar to the cold-blooded perk and Flak Jacket was seen in Call of Duty: World at War, it reduces explosive damage.

Second Perk Slot:

* Hardened
* Scout
* Steady Aim
* Sleight of Hand
* Warlord

Hardened is bullet penetration, Warlord is the bling perk seen in Modern Warfare 2. Scout allows you to hold your breath longer.

Third Perk Slot:

* Marathon
* Ninja
* Second Chance
* Hacker
* Tactical Mask

Second Chance is last stand, of course with revival. Tactical Mask makes you tear gas and flashbang resistant. Hacker is similar to sitrep. Hacker Pro will allow you to booby trap enemy care packages, and allow you to hack enemy equipment like claymores, sam turrets, and sentry guns to turn them friendly.

Along with the Napalm Strike and the RC car spotted in the Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer teaser trailer, we can now confirm that we will be seeing the new addition of several killstreaks as well as some old favorites popping up from Modern Warfare 2. Here is the confirmed list with the amount of kills needed to release these bad boys after purchasing them:

* 4 – Counter Spy Plane $1600
* 4 – Sam Turret $1600
* 5 – Care Package
* 5 – Napalm Strike
* 6 – Sentry Gun $3200
* 6 – Mortar Team
* 7 – Attack Helicopter
* 7 – Valkyrie Rockets $4000
* 8 – BlackBird $4500
* 8 – Rolling Thunder $4500
* 9 - Chopper Gunner $5000
* 11 – Attack Dogs $6000
* 11 Gunship $6000

More information on the prices and what the killstreaks are will be posted as the information becomes available.
