MW2 Weapon Stats

For you guys who don't know how to read the chart,

Red line = effective range w/o silencer
Blue line = effective range w silencer

Drop offs indicate reduced damage over distance

Figures on the far right indicate damage multipliers for head/upper-torso shots.

So Im guessing the higher the red line is, the stronger the gun is ?

yeah so for example FAL is the strongest gun at 55-35 damage

and acr/m4/f2000 are the weakest with 30-20 damage

Which technically makes stopping power on the FAL useless cuz its a 2-3 shot kill regardless of SP is equipped or not

I've been using the FAL a lot lately, and it's starting to turn
into one of my fav guns lol.

I might try it again during this prestige. I finished last prestige without even getting a kill using the FAL or the TAR

I really liked it with bling RDS + silencer, but there was no way i was getting by with 40 bullets

The FAL is amazing. 1 shot headshot, and mostly 2 shots anywhere else.

You guys should try out FAL+themal+scavenger+cold blooded+steady aim in wasteland. 2 to 3 shots for a kill and just hang outside the bunkers on either A or C or inside facing B.


Also anyone use the master key? looks interesting stats wise and it would free up a secondary for ats launcher...

The Masterkey pretty much sucks.
it sucks on Single player and it isn't useful on multiplayer
since if you DO see someone close to you,you will fill him with lead instead of changing to the Masterkey and shooting.
And if you go around with the shotgun,then you should probably use a REGULAR shotgun instead.

Yeah, I've never used the master key once yet.
I prefer the SPAS w/ Grip or Striker w/ RDS.
