Really minor point, but I noticed the assists are like WAW. Instead of 20 for every assist, it ranges from 20 - 80 depending on how much damage you did before somebody comes along and snatches the kill.

Combat Record Games these days seem to track all your in-game stats and allow you to browse them later to see how you are performing. Black Ops will have in-game stats that will be added to your "Combat Record" page, which will have detailed information on heat maps, weapon statistics, kill/death ratio graphs, and more. David Vonderhaar I think people are going to be pretty happy what we did with the stats system in Black Ops. If you played World at War, you'll know we had a pretty insane stats web site. Now a lot of those stats are also inside the game in what we call the Combat Record. It's 5 tabs of goodness. Leaderboard Hackers To Be Banned The Xbox 360 and PS3 leaderboards in Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) have been a big mess due to hackers and worst of all, no action has been taken to remove them. Treyarch has the tools to ban these players: Josh Olin Yes, we have the necessary tools in COD7 Black Ops to moderate the leaderboards. Furthermore, we'll ban those who hack. It's good to know that Treyarch plans to (at least tries) keep these hackers at bay. The PC version of Black Ops will also have a leaderboard, just like the Xbox 360 and PS3, but it will be interesting to see how it works out since the PC version will be more open to exploits and hacks.
Pro Perks Most of the Pro Perks are still unknown, but luckily more information has been revealed on Hardline Pro and Sleight of Hand Pro. Care Package users are going to be pleased; if you don't like what's inside a Care Packge, just randomly swap the reward with the Hardline Pro perk.
Sleight of Hand Pro was already confirmed to allow faster ADS (aim-down-sight), but it's now also been confirmed by David Vonderhaar that it doesn't work with sniper class weapons.
Quickscoping Sleight of Hand Pro doesn't work with sniper rifles anymore, so it makes quickscoping harder and less rewarding - the way it should be. Quickscoping is extremely popular in Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) due to Sleight of Hand Pro allowing players to achieve fast and highly accurate shots with minimal aiming.

I finished my pre-order of Black Opts...
Sorry Noob, won't be joining you playing at midnight. EB Games stopped taking orders for the Prestige Edition. So my only option was ordering online with Futureshop and they will mail it to my place on the release date.
I guess there's no point taking the day off on release day.... But I get Nov 11th off for Rememberance Day and that's on the Thursday. I might as well take the Wednesday and Friday off make it a mini vacation... of Black Ops.

I'll stop by my local Futureshop and ask... They never pick up when I call. If I can pre-order there, then I'll cancel the online pre-order. I'm not driving to Richmond Hill.
I'd rather avoid the mail. Last year, I pre-ordered MW2 with BestBuy.ca and Canada Post lost it in the mail! I ended up getting a full refund though, but it was a lot of hassle.

My Futureshop online order was a panic order.
I called Futureshop... no answer. Then I checked EBgames website and pre-ordering the Prestige Edition is no longer available. So I call the closest one to me and they said all EB locations reached their max for the Hardened and Prestige. Then I check the BestBuy website... not stock. Finally I check the Futureshop website and it's still available. So I picked it up right away.
I think Futureshop online still had stock because Futureshop.ca had a price error on the Prestige edition a few weeks ago. It was going for $50 instead of $150. They got flooded with pre-orders and probably just cancelled all of them.

Back in August... It was on RFD (expired deals section now). There's a bit of a hole in my theory in that it was just the 360 version that dropped to $50.
At least I got a back up plan... I'll drive around my area tomorrow or Saturday to see if I can find a Prestige version. I'm staying late tonight for work
