Prestige Hack

the rules say we are not allowed to post illegal stuff, so im not sure if it falls into that category. Ill remove it if its an issue with dmarkz or divina.

- Save Files (Prestige levels 1-10+Error) for both North America and Europe

Setup:
1. Download files above.
2. Extract the files on your PC. Copy the PS3 folder to your flash drive.
3. Open PS3 Patch blocker BUT DO NOT HIT START!

THE HACK:
1. Start up modern warfare 2.

2. click Play online and load up your stats.

3. Go back and go to split screen, then press X to join game and load up the error file, You will get a error.

4. then go back to spilt screen and press continue, go to barracks and prestige.

5. then go to lan party and change offline profile, then load up the Prestige file.

6. Go back to spilt screen again, Change offline profile and load up the error file. Again you will get a error.

7. go back to spilt screen change offline profile and load up the Prestige file, you won't get a error.

8. now go back to play online, you will see that nothing has changed in your stats yet. Quit the game and go to the PS3 main menu.

9. now go to network settings then internet connection settings. select custom and leave everything as it should be, then once you get to the part where it asks if you want to use a proxy server click "USE", now you should get a screen with IP ADDRESS AND PORT NUMBER.

10. now use the exact ip address that you see on the patchblocker. Enter this ip into your ps3, the port will remain the same so don't worry about changing it.

11. after you enter the ip address press X and go over to the next screen where it asks you to test your connection [But DONT actually test you connection yet ]

12. go back to your computer and click start on the patchblocker.once you click "start" it starts to block the patch.

13. now go back to your PS3 and test your connection, it should succeed.

14. now that the patch is blocked, go back to game data utility and find the Modern warfare 2 file and delete it.
Note: you may notice you get signed out of PSN while you are doing this, just sign back in.

15. Start modern warfare 2 up again.

16. click play online and load up your stats.

17. go back and go to split screen and load up the error file, you will get a error.

18. go back to split screen and press continue, then go to barracks and prestige, you get a error again.

19. go to lan party and change offline profile and load up the Prestige file, you wont get a error.

20. go back and click play online, go to barracks and prestige.

21. quit the game and go to the PS3 main menu.

22. go back to network settings then internet connection settings and scroll over to the page where it asks you about the proxy, now change the proxy to "DO NOT USE" press X and continue scrolling to the page to test your internet connection, again it should succeed.

23. start modern warfare 2 up, and download the patch 1.08.

24. play online and load up your stats, if you did the hack correct you should be the prestige that you chose.

Some tips:
- you will LOSE YOUR MAP PACKS WHEN YOU DELETE THE MW2 PATCH; MAKE SURE TO DEACTIVATE MAP PACK GAME SHARE ACCOUNTS before deleting the patch to be safe
- MAKE SURE TO SET YOUR K/S to whatever you use or find easy to use BEFORE YOU PRESTIGE
- this works for patch 1.11 (the latest) despite the video saying 1.08
- pay attention to when prestige save file is to be loaded and when error file is to be loaded.
- if you are signed out at any point during the process, just sign back in
- the video tells you (and i the way i did it as well) to hardwire your ps3 and computer to the router. I am not sure if the patch blocker would work over wifi, but i dont see why it shouldnt (as long as you can setup a proxy/port)

yeah thats right. If you do it to your existing account then you keep everything. Camo's and unlocks are kept as well but can only be accessed when you hit that level. For example, for the ACR you have reach lvl 48 (iirc) before you can use it. Once you reach 48 you will have access to all attachments/camos.

I should also add that if you do it to your existing account, make sure to setup your k/s to whatever you normally use or would find easy to use when you are levelling up. When you prestige hack, it will lock the k/s setup to what it is already. You wont be able to change until every 5 or 6 levels (iirc).

zuey new update took off the hack. didnt stay a tenth prestige

i tried the hack so had to redo the 1.11 update, but since the hack wasnt for that the patch took off my hack

lol wut? if you dont mind, can you explain in a little more detail. The hack works on patch 1.11 btw.

i get the tenth prestige, then after i reupload the patch it goes away

ok, did you use patch blocker (and set it up correctly) after deleting the patch?

yes i started the patch blocker before i did the connection test. then i got my tenth prestige and turned it off and redid the patch 1.11
