Prestige Hack

after you run patch blocker and delete the 1.11 patch from game data utility, you should be able to go online to the next steps without needing to download the patch. My guess is patch blocker did not work properly and it told you to download the patch?

from steps 9-11 you leave the program open, but DO NOT CLICK START YET. From step 12 (after you have gotten the port number and ip number from patch blocker and entered it into the network proxy settings on your ps3) you CAN CLICK START. Then like step 13 says, test your connection (patch blocker should already be open and started like step 12 directed to do so). If your connection test works and you can go online for mw2 without patch, then the blocker is working. Leave patch blocker on and running till you finish the rest of the steps (16-20) and reach the end of step 21 (when you quit mw2 and go to main menu). Then you can stop patch blocker.

the computer running patch blocker and ps3 have to be wired to the same router. The ps3 ip address and if necessary, port number has to be changed to the same one patch blocker says. After all the settings have been changed, before you hit test make sure to start patch blocker. Then click test. If the test succeeds and when you try to go online with mw2 no patch tries to download then the blocker is working.

does the ps3's ip and port number match up (you can check this by going to network status in ps3) with patch blocker on your computer?

lol this is psn, they have no teeth...suspensions, let alone bans will never happen for hacking cod.

PC/Steam, sure and Live/360 as well i suppose. But never on PSN, only when i see it will i believe it.

also they will ban those that boost

@xJawz We'll always review Theater Films to make our decision. Just play right, no cheating or boosting, and you won't be banned =).

@xHarryJohnsonx ... If you are only killing each other, over and over, then it is boosting. There's no real gray areas to boosting haha.

@ImOnTwittaYo Theater Reviews =). We can just look at that player's Films (all are saved server-side). If he boosted or cheated, he's banned

that is a good point you bring up since they have all the films. But i have a hard time believing that they are going to have the resources to review all that film, then communicate to sony to get a psn suspension or ban. If it was live or steam i can see them banning people easily but psn is pretty weak. Anyways i could be wrong so the only way to now is to see what happens when black ops comes out.

yea ill prob make another fake acc boost on that or hack/glitch and see how long it takes for em to ban me or remove me in leader boards

We love Tac Insert. It does a few things for the game strategy. A well organized team of Tac Insert user can roll the competition in Demo. It's grand, really, and how it should be. Counter by organizing your own team of Tac Insert users and roll with Hacker.

It also solves a problem. A lot of you are super convinced you can make a better spawn system than we can. That's cool. So, here you go. Here is Tac Insert. Pick your own spawn point and stop yelling at me.

Trying to use Tac Insert but are getting Tac Insert spawned camped? Well, you probably deserve that but you can now cancel your own Tac Insert in the Killcam. That's new to Black Ops.

The main reason I am not as worried about Tac Insert as you? We can disable it. And, I just did for Free-For-All (hardcore and core) variants. It will still work in Private Matches in Free for All, but then you don't get XP in Private Matches so it can't be used for boosting.

The game has a reporting system. Report boosters and let's make examples of them. Once you lay the ban hammer on enough bad people word will get around that we don't take too kindly to this sort of thing.

the only banns psn has is the credit card theft one and i remember back in the day resistance had banns and suspensions

lol all i know is they will at least fix leader boards that's all i care about
