Holy crap, I just finished the longest, epic game of my life !
The match went on for 58 minutes, both teams going back and forth, it was pretty close. In the end, we lost because we were short one player (He had to go to sleep Mad

Do you keep your level ups? I got to 12 in my game but I only killed one guy. The one I had was more of a support type guy.

Naw, you dont keep your level ups in match. When you play a match, you start from level 1 and end at 18.
Your rank level is what matters though. The higher your rank level is, the better your character will be. You can customize your abilities and masteries to make your character even stronger every time you rank up.
Also, save up all your IP if you want to use it to buy new characters or runes. Runes are what you use to make your abilities stronger. If you need more help, ask me or read the New Players Guide. You can even get some tips and strategies to improve your gameplay of your specific character HERE.

Veigar?
He's a good character to use for range. Use his Event Horizon spell to stun the enemy then use your Baleful Strike OR Dark Matter for tons of damage. Make sure you buff up his AP (Ability Power) and his HP to make him even more powerful.
