This is what I did to beat him. Use Lightning, Hope and Fang. Don't forget to use your Libra ! Use Med/Syn/Sab in the beginning. Make sure Fang cast's all the spells on Cid and also make sure Hope casts protection on everyone. After that switch to, Rav/Med/Comm Keep attacking him with this until he becomes staggered. Once staggered switch to, Rav/Rav/Comm and keep attacking. Once Sid starts attacking like crazy, switch to Rav/Rav/Sent <-- By doing this he'll only attack Fang, so then Lightning and Hope can attack him freely. Make sure everyones protection spell is still up. If not then switch back to Med/Syn/Sab and get them back up. Keep switching back to Rav/Med/Comm to attack him and you should be fine. Once his life is more than halfway gone, call in Odin to deal even more damage. Try doing that and let me know if that worked for you.

Okay, so how the hell do you beat this guy ? I have Lightning, Hope and Vanille on. I have Lightning as Commando, Hope as Medic and Vanille as Ravager. I get all the heads down easy, but after that I'm screwed. He always does that destrudo thing which kills Lighthing instantly ! I've been stuck on this guy since Friday, and I don't know what to do haha. Any tips that can help me out ?

-Use Lightning, Snow and Hope. -If you have any Shrouds, use it before going in. -If you have any CP, use it to raise your HP, magic, strength etc.. -Go to the store, and I forgot which store it was but look for something that says Resist physical damage by 10% or something like that. Buy that and then equip it to Lightning. This is a big help. Also buy alot potions and phoenix down if you don't have any. -Don't forget to use Libra in the beginning of the match to find out his weak points. -Now for Paradigms, set it up like this: Lightning- Med Snow- Sent Hope- Syn <--Set this is your default. Basically what you do is make Hope cast protection on everyone while Snow distracts the boss. Use Lightning to heal everyone. Once everyone is all protected up, switch to this: Lightning- Rav Snow- Comm Hope- Med <---Have Lightning and Snow attack one face at a time. Start off with the Left faces (They tend to do more damage) Once you stagger one of the faces, switch to this: Lightning- Rav Snow- Comm Hope- Rav <--- Once you see someone turn yellow, switch back Hope to Medic or use potions. -Now, once all the faces are gone your going to want to stagger him fast. Make sure everyones shields are still up, if not switch back to Med/Sent/Syn. Once everyones shields are up, make everyone attack at once (Rav/Comm/Rav) Try to get as much stagger damage. Keep using potions, or keep switching Hope to Med. -When you see him charging up for Destrudo, you have about a minute or so to attack him before he pulls out the deadly attack. Make sure everyone is at full health at this point and attack him with everything you have. - I had troubles at this point where Lightning would just die after the first destrudo. I found a way around this. Once he uses destrudo, make sure Lightning is up to his face, attacking him. By doing this, Lightning will take less damage. - Once you see his life about at a quarter, get him staggered for the last time. Keep using Rav/Comm/Rav and Rav/Comm/Med (Keep switching when someones health falls) Then Summon Odin once he is staggered. You should then have no problem from here on.

Ahhh ! Thanks lots man. I finally beat him haha. I just started Chapter 10 couple minutes ago but now I'm taking a little break. The story just keeps getting better. Man, S.E did a great job with this that I hope the game doesn't end soon haha.

all of my characters mostly have atleast 2 lvl 4 classes and all are over 4000 hp but i still cant beat dahaka lol

i just beat him yesterday got 3 stars tho i just switch between com/rav/rav and com/med/med when i need heals. the boss after is harder tho lol im stuck i gotta grind more

I've been on Chap.13 for a looooooooooooooooooong time. I keep debating whether I should go and beat it or not.. cause I kinda don't wanna beat it yet. xD I've been messing around in Gran Pulse for a long time. xD

ending goes by to fast. u beat a boss watch some scenes and booom your done. had a original ending and nothing that will make you jump up. it did make me smile though

ANOTHER RANT ON FF13 i took a quick overview of what i remember of the game and all i remember is the story and the new battle style gameplay. at first i disagreed with what ign gave them but know after a few mounths after you finish the story , i agree with them. ff13 just didn't have a big effect that would change your life and keep the game in your heart like ff7 or chrono trigger. game feels like a original superhero movie and snow would have made a better main character. drama runs around light the most. no comedy in the game except sasz and his hair. romance with snow is short and typical hero saving the girl. fang and vanille has a big event of the story only in the last 2 chapters. and the kid... lol.. mom dies... alot of ppl dies at beginning why is he so special. if the story ended with the prime storyline from chapters 1-10 would have been better

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Domain Registered Could Square Enix be sizing up a sequel?
A recent domain registration has kindled rumours that Square Enix could be lining up a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII.
Internet sleuth supererogatpory spotted the registration for the site finalfantasy13-2game.com from Square Enix's registrar.
Domain registrations are, of course, far from confirmation of a game, but if Final Fantasy XIII-2 was to be announced it wouldn't be out of form – Final Fantasy X got a direct sequel in 2003.
Square Enix does have another game set within the Final Fantasy XIII universe, though Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still shrouded in mystery.
Final Fantasy XIII proved one of the more divisive entries in Square's long-running series, though our brace of positive reviews suggest it wasn't without merit. Could a sequel right the original's wrongs and fulfil the original's potential to make it a true classic?
