i dont sign on because psn slows down gt5 (i wonder if treyarch helped polyphony lol). But ill come online from now on since your on. And your so far ahead too. I am level 9, but i completed all licenses up to IC-10, did some of the special challenges and completed some beginner races.
My car is 98 Civic Type R as well lol.

I'm surprised my old crusty logitech wheel from the ps2 days still work for ps3. I think using a wheel is actually harder to play than controller, but it's more fun

just skip them and keep doing other challenges and licenses. You should eventually be able to win an alfa romeo (model?) from the generic italian series that will let you compete in the other classics. And to compete in the generic italian race use the maserati gt that you win from another race (forgot which one).
EDIT: for the 80's japanses race use the race prepped motul civic you win from (fr?) challenge.

lol yeah you cant go lock to lock as fast as a controller but wheel is more fun and precise for holding lines and acceleration in corners. Try the jeff gordon nascar challenge and youll see what i mean.

really? i find it easier using a wheel i used my friends drive force, its not as good as the G25 or G27 but its good the only harder thing about using a wheel, to me is shifting. it makes drifting a whole new thing
zuey you gotta play with me and rizzo sometime, lots of fun drifting and drag races, playing for pink slips and parts lol rizzo actually beat me yesterday so i owe him a silvia S13, better then his crap stock car lol

online is just for fun but there are a bunch of forums and websites based on competitive driving people race for pink slips, parts, and some people make drift teams other than that, its also just a place to brag and show off your car and skills what we were doing was just free roaming people make rooms like cross country racing and dirt road rally's you need skill to do the cross country races, mess up a turn and your done for the whole race

yea it should be and i got the 350z yesterday just because i read its the easiest car to drift not the nissan version though, mine is the mercury and its a little heavier and tougher to shift the weight to get the car to slide. anyway i got some money to spare, i can make the car lighter and add lvl 1 turbo for you

thanks moneybags
how much money do u have?
I've got like 40k. I'm saving up for the dodge challenger so I can win some classic cars for the classic races. I like to finish all the races in one class before moving on to the next

right now i have like 60 k cause i just bought the 350z and a mustang, i forgot whats it called though and never used it. i think the challenger is around 70k. but its easier for me to make money so dont worry. a professional race can give you 10+ k if you win

Is there an option in online mode to limit the classes of the cars so there's no race cars aside from HP limit?
I like supping up normal cars to race online but it would suck if some chump comes in with a formula 1 race car and destroys my shit
