it can be as strategic as chess and as athletic as basketball once you guess a play right, a team can get a 40m dash i agree that it can be boring at times but theres always those games that can get you standing

Football can be boring when the game itself isn't very exciting, but that can be said for any sport. But this is why you need to pair football with a PVR (or DVR for you Americans). Not only can you skip all the commercials, but you can skip the huddles too. Bell is better because you have the skip forward 30 second button. Works well unless a team is a hurry or no huddle offense.

PVR for football... really i use it for other shows but when watching the bowl, commercials, huddles, halftime shows, and the fat fans is like tradition. most commercials make me hungry, fans are funny, halftime is entertaining (always expect something to happen. JT and janet ) and the huddles always get me hyped before each play

how the hell is football boring? Now hockey is boring, except for the playoffs. Ever watch 60 minutes of the Devils et al. running a trap? How about any leaf games? Yawwwn...probably why the nhl has so much trouble selling its tv rights in the US lol.
Anyways go patriots. I cant wait for the pats vs jets/ravens games.

Bah! Damn Indy covering the spread! Lost my football pool that I'm getting my ass handed to me. This was my only good week of the season and I got a total of 11 right but was tied going into monday night. I picked the correct exact final score... But the reverse teams.. Fail.
But on the up side with Pittsburgh losing, the Patriots have the best record in the league!

we might get moss back, well probably know by tomorrow since patriots are thee last team (as they have best record) that can claim him off waivers.
Also i take back what i said about farve, he still has a big ego but childress is to blame as well. I mean what kind of retard gives a way a 3 round pick for randy moss then releases him after 3 games WTF???

Okay, so normally, I suck at football pickem pools. I usually finish near the bottom of the list... this year is no different I was at one point in last place out of 36 people... then something weird happened..
I had a few good weeks and last week I won the week! And by some strange miracle, I'm winning this week too! I'm up a game against two other people going into the Monday Night Game. If I get the game right (with spread) then I win. But this Monday Night game is tough to pick:
49ers vs Cardinals
On one hand, after loosing their first 5 games, the 49ers are 3-2, but they are on the road (winless) and the last game they got shutout!
The Cards are riding a 5 game losing streak, but at least they are at home.
The spread is 1, so it's pretty much picking the winner... With these two team you never know who shows up... so besides flipping a coin, who should I pick?
